About Mama
Born March 8th 2020,
She started following the Baptist Missionaries who came to Ogbomosho for mission work at the age of twelve.
Mama got to know the Lord at an early age even before marriage. She was taught how to read and write in Yoruba language so that she can read and understand the Bible
She was afraid of getting drowned in water and as such refused initial baptismal offer but got baptized by sprinkling of water in Methodist Church because her husband was a Methodist Church member.
She later got baptized by immersion at Christ Apostolic Church in Ibadan while living with her daughter Mrs Grace Omolade.
She had a second immersion baptism at Apostolic Faith Church Oke-Ado, Ibadan while living with another daughter Mary Oladele.
She chose to remain a Baptist member till death because she has been a Baptist from the beginning.
She exemplified Biblical doctrines as seen in the book of Philippians 4:8 that says
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”
Mama was beautiful inside out,
She is peace loving, caring and giving and her cleanliness is next to Godliness.
She particularly believed in tithing and claimed that;
Tithing prolongs life, wades of sicknesses and diseases, prevents loss and brings favor from God and man to the extent that Mama will tithe from any monetary gifts to her children.
Mama encouraged her husband to pay tithes instead of Class money being paid by Methodist Church members.
Mama is a faithful tither who loved God to the end.
