I remember really really good times visiting with uncle George and Aunt Doris and cousin Lisa in Chicago. My memories tell me of a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, riding in the back seat with my brother Eddie (sometimes my sister CC) while my father Eddie B rode shotgun, with Uncle George at the wheel. It felt like we were going really really fast, the music was loud and some real grown folk talk going on up front. Good times!
Uncle George exuded strength, confidence and it seemed like he owned the city! Everywhere we went it felt like we were special guests of Uncle George - which was awesome. Being 5,6,7years old, to me Uncle George was like an Action Hero and our black super hero! Thanks for the good times and making us feel like family. Rest In Peace...
