Sharon White's Obituary
Ms. Sharon Lyn White, the wonderful daughter of Dolores Dell, was born on February 28, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan. Sharon was baptized at an early age.
Sharon graduated from Northwestern High School. She obtained an Associate’s degree from Wayne County Community College. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Wayne State University in 1995.
Sharon married Edward White on April 20, 1965. During this union they had three children: Nanette Valentine, Cheryl White, and Brian White.
Sharon enjoyed sewing, bike riding, visiting casinos, shopping, cooking, and baking; known amongst friends and family as an exceptional cook. Sharon enjoyed traveling, some of her destinations included China, Australia, Italy, and Alaska.
Sharon was an incredible woman who simultaneously earned multiple degrees, worked different jobs and raised a family as a single mother. One of which was the assembly line at Chrysler Corporation. As a successful entrepreneur she owned a daycare center, janitorial service, and a nurse/caretaker for multiple clients.
Preceding her in death was: her sister Doris Dell and, brother Dorsey Dell. She leaves behind to mourn: her mother Dolores Dell and her beloved sisters Carolyn Mathis and Sandra Lewis; her children Nanette (Rickey) Valentine, Cheryl White, and Brian White; and her grandchildren Emmanuel Valentine, Amarriah Valentine, Jeremiah Valentine, Nehemiah Valentine, Zechariah Valentine, Thomas Valentine, Edrick Valentine, Hosea Valentine, Brian White Jr, Ariyan White, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
