Dr. Christie K. Moore (Redmon)
Owner, CEO & Funeral Director In Charge
Dr. Christie K. Moore (Redmon) exemplifies excellence, innovation, and servant leadership within the funeral service profession. With more than 28 years of experience, she has shaped the industry as both a practitioner and educator — including her service as a Chemistry, Arts, and Embalming Instructor at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, where she helped equip the next generation of leaders. Her influence extends nationwide through speaking engagements and published works focused on mentorship, business development, and entrepreneurial mindset — always grounded in compassion, integrity, and purpose.
As CEO of Mansfield Funeral Home & Cremations, Christie leads award-winning locations in Mansfield and Frisco, Texas — among the first funeral homes in their areas to be owned by a woman. Under her guidance, the firm serves families across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, the United States, and internationally, ensuring that every family experiences dignity, honor, and care. Christie also made history as the first woman to build an on-site crematory in Tarrant County, advancing representation and excellence within the profession. Her leadership blends heart and strategy — building strong teams, modernizing tradition, and expanding thoughtfully as the needs of families evolve.
Service is part of Christie’s DNA. Continuing a family legacy of public service, she founded The Christie K. Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming the mindset of entrepreneurs and strengthening small business ecosystems. She also owns Cremation Specialists of North Texas and formerly co-owned Peaceful Pets DFW, extending compassionate support to families grieving the loss of beloved companion animals.
A proud Dallas (Oak Cliff) native, Christie’s greatest joy is being a mother to her daughter, Kennedy Maurie, a Political Science and Biology student at Tuskegee University. Her faith anchors every aspect of her life and work. She is an active member of The Village United Methodist Church in DeSoto, Texas, and a devoted member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Guided by the belief that service is sacred and leadership is stewardship, Christie continues to elevate standards of care while inspiring others to dream, build, and lead with purpose.
