Garry "riceball" Rice's Obituary
VENUS -- Garry Mason "Riceball", 52 of Venus, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009. Visitation: 6pm to 8pm Wednesday at Alternative Funeral Services Visitation Suite. Memorial Service: Thursday at 11am at Crossroads Christian Church 6450 S. Hwy 360, Grand Prairie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Scottish Rite Hospital. Garry was born June 15, 1957 in San Angelo, TX. He was an avid hunter and loved hunting each year at his deer lease in Treat, TX. He also loved riding his Harley, playing his guitar and writing his own music. Garry will be always loved and missed by his family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Konye Rice of Venus and father, Warren "Dale" Rice. Survivors: son, Gordan Rice and wife Jennifer of Little Elm, TX, granddaughter, Savannah Rice and grandson Tyler Rice both of Little Elm, mother, Dorothy Rice of Venus, brothers, Dale Rice and his wife Linda of Rowlett, Gail Rice of Venus, and Dennis Rice and his wife Susan of Arlington, sisters, Robin Weidner and her husband Scott of Burleson, Kelly Jackson and her husband Ken of Allen, TX, former wife, Cheryl Rice of Katy, Tx and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
