Cathy Taylor's Obituary
Cathy Taylor, 51, was received into the hands of her Heavenly Father, Friday, February 12, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Memorial Service: 5pm Tuesday at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church, 3324 House Anderson Road Euless, TX 76040. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 20th at 12:00 noon at Second Baptist Church in Benton Harbor, MI.
Burial will be Monday, February 22nd at the Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
Cathy was born December 1, 1958 in Benton Harbor, MI and graduated from Benton Harbor High School. She was baptized by Rev. Donald Adkins at the Second Baptist Church of Benton Harbor and was honored as a lifetime member. She was employed with American Airlines dedicating over 20 years of service and a longtime member of St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church. Cathy enjoyed shopping with her friends, traveling, working out and spending time with her family. Her strong faith in God and loving ways will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Cathy's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Love Chapter, Daisy Jackson, Debbie Showell, Mary Stroman, Donna Flood, Larraine Edmonds, Joy Johnson, Lynn Thomson, Yvette Edgerson and Yasma Donkley for their special care and love during this time.
Survivors: son, Tashumbi N. Taylor of Lawton, OK, daughter, Shakiya E. Butler and her husband Brandon of Fort Worth, brother, Mallory S. "Rudy" McMillan and wife Pati of Louisville, KY, sister, Barbara McMillan of Benton Harbor, MI, grandchildren, Treveante Curry, Trinity and Tyjhiem Taylor, JiCoi Maxey, Malachi and Harmony Butler, 1 niece, 4 nephews 2 great nieces 1 great nephew and her special friend, Shirley Carter of Benton Harbor, MI.
