Craig S. Fox's Obituary
Craig Steven Fox was received into the hands of God at his home on Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Mansfield, Texas.
Craig was born on December 27, 1946 in Glendale, California to Hyte and Frances Fox. He graduated from Magnolia Senior High School in Anaheim, California in 1965 and received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in photography from California State University in Fullerton, California in 1975. He was a devoted father, steadfast friend, and talented photographer. Craig was a native Californian who moved to Texas in 1994 with his young son and new wife who happened to be a native-Texan. He was a kind-hearted, gentle man with an enormous soft spot for all of God's creatures. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football, baseball, and golf. He had a great appreciation for classical music and was immensely proud of his sons and their achievements, great and small. He will be dearly missed by his sons, his friends and his family.
He is survived by his sons Collin Hyte Fox (19) and Carson Quinn Fox (14); his brother, Lynn H. Fox, MA - English Teacher, 40 years, of Fort Washington, Maryland; his niece, Dr. Lisa C. Fox, PhD, Legislative Analyst, State of North Carolina, of Raleigh, North Carolina; and his nephew, Dr. Glenn R. Fox, PhD, Brain Researcher/Post-Doctorate, University of Southern California.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hyte and Frances Fox, and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Fox (wife of Lynn H. Fox).
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 10:00 am at Mansfield Funeral Home, 1556 W. Heritage Parkway, Mansfield, TX 76063 (817-453-3009).
