Donald Lee Williams, 57, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2015 in an Arlington hospital.
Funeral Service: 7:30am Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; 3809 Curt Drive, Arlington 76016
Burial: 10:00am at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Don was born September 8, 1957 to Raymond and Lavonne Williams. He was grew up in Madison, South Dakota and graduated from Madison High School in 1976. He was a graduate of Dakota State University and obtained degrees in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Management and Computer Science. Don was a veteran of the US Army and was retired from the Army National Guard with 22 years of loyal service. He has been a resident of Arlington for the past 8 years and enjoyed bowling, cheering for his Green Bay Packers and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all he knew. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lavonne Williams and nieces, Teresa Bennett and Melinda Sogaard.
Survivors: wife of 16 years, Katherine Williams of Arlington; sons, Andrew Williams and wife Abbie of Madison, SD, Alexander and Avery Williams both of Arlington; daughters, Ashleigh Pena and husband Pete of Brookings, SD, Alyssa Lewis and her husband Jonathan and Aleighna Williams, both of Arlington; brothers, David Williams and wife Carol of Valley MIlls, TX, Robert "Bobby" Williams and wife Francis of Mountain View, MO; sisters, Barb Sogaard and husband Tom of Pierre, SD, Carol Smith of Madison, SD and Dorine Bennett and husband Danny of Madison, SD; 4 grandchildren.
