Jesusa M. Gomez's Obituary
Jesusa M. Gomez, 91, entered into eternal life, Sunday, November 21, 2010 while surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will begin at 4pm Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 6pm to 8pm at Alternative Funeral Services Visitation Suite.
Homegoing Services: 1pm Wednesday, Creekwood Church, 260 N. Miller RD, Mansfield, 76063. Interment: Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington.
Jesusa was born December 24, 1918 in Cleburne, Texas to Ramon and Christina Martinez. She grew up in Ennis, lived in Dallas and Grand Prairie before moving to Arlington in 2008. She enjoyed the unity of her family, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for her family, Sewing and Crocheting. Her love of music and fun with her family will be deeply missed. Jesusa was preceded in death by her first husband, Adolph Rosales of Grand Prairie and grandson, Richard Smith of Arlington.
Survivors: husband of 46 years, Hector Gomez of Arlington; daughters, Juanita "Jay" Gallegos and her husband, Domingo "Mingo" and Mary Maldonado both of Grand Prairie, Vera Cuellar of Arlington, Amelia Gonzalez and her husband Robert of Fort Worth; son, Adolph Rosales and his wife Bertha of Grand Prairie, daughter, Jessie Padgett and her husband Tom of Arlington; son, Pete Rosales and his wife Marilyn of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Hope Galban and her husband Albert "Buddy" of Grand Prairie; sons, Ernie Rosales and his wife Robin, Ray Rosales and his wife Patti of Arlington, 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
