Thomas David Montemayer's Obituary
Thomas David Montemayer, 82, was received into the hands of God, January 20, 2011 while surrounded by his loving family.
Celebration of Life: 10:00am Tuesday, at Creekwood Church, 260 N. Miller Rd; Mansfield.
Thomas was born July 25, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas and Ester Montemayer. He graduated from Lew Wallace High School and was a graduate of Gary Tech in Gary Indiana. He worked as a mechanic, loved to rebuild Cadillacs and enjoyed collecting antique toys. In 1983 Thomas moved to Arlington to care for his ailing mother. He loved helping people. His loving ways and caring heart will be missed and always loved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Montemayer and sister Lydia Rucoba.
Survivors: Wife of 25 years, Gloria Montemayer of Arlington; sons, Thomas D. Montemayer of Morocco, IN, David Montemayer and his wife Robyn and Mark Montemayer and his wife Penny both of Sumava Resorts, IN, Paul Montemayer and his wife Denise of Morocco, IN, and Thomas J. Montemayer and wife Alma of Arlington; daughters, Ester Montemayer, Debra Halloway and her husband Brian, and Ruth Lindahl all of Sumava Resorts, IN, Renee Montgomery and her husband James of Kennedale; brothers, Daniel Montemayer of Joliet, IL and Thomas Montemayer of Midlothian, IL; sister, Sarah Blasko of Richardson, TX; 26 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
