Keisha Lashawn Gorman's Obituary
Keisha LaShawn Gorman, 40, of Mabank, Texas was received into the hands of God, Monday, February 6, 2012 while surrounded by her loving family.
Memorial Services will be held February 18, 2012 at 2pm at the family home, 11668 State HWY 198, Mabank, TX 75156.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for a memorial to be placed in Keisha's memory. Please call the funeral home for information.
Keisha was born September 24, 1971 in Dallas, Texas to George Romo and Mary Romo-Zeito. She loved singing, especially Karaoke, and enjoyed playing poker with her many poker friends. She loved fishing, woodworking, helping with the children at her church and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Keisha will be deeply missed and always loved by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, George Andrews Zeito III of Dallas, Texas.
Keisha is survived by her husband of 3 years, Sam Gorman of Fort Worth; sons, Matthew Scott Romo of Arlington and Christian James Madrid of Mabank, TX; daughter, Jessica Amber Madrid of Arlington; mother, Kathy Zeito and her husband George of Mabank, father, George Romo of Grand Prairie; brothers, Reno Ray Romo and his wife Patti of Mansfield, and Jason Andrew Romo and his wife Nijole of The Colony; sister, Tina Renee Defoe and her husband Terry of Mabank, half sisters, Crystal Torres of Fort Worth and Melisa Romo of Rockwall; grandmother, Frances Howard of Bedford; grandchildren, Gracie Romo of Mansfield and Mya Miller of Arlington, former husband and good friend, Doug Crump; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
