Robert (Robby) James Kidd, 20, of Arlington was received into the hands of God, July 28, 2012.
Visitation: 6pm to 8pm Friday August 3, 2012 at Eden Road Community Church, 7000 Matlock Road Arlington, TX 76002.
Funeral Service: 4pm Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Eden Road Community Church.
Robby Kidd was born July 22, 1992 to James and Mary Kidd. He attended Eden Road Community Church and participated in youth groups, camps, and the College and Career Group. Robby attended Timberview High School and graduated in 2010. He loved playing baseball with the Timberview Timberwolves. Robby enjoyed his job and working with his friends as a waiter at the Olive Garden in Mansfield. Robby loved music. He played guitar, wrote his own songs and was a YouTube sensation; publishing his videos for all to enjoy. Robby often serenaded his family and friends with his music. Robby loved life and loved to make people smile. He was known for giving great hugs and would light up a room when he entered. Robby enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether he was hitting golf balls, hunting with his dad, teaching his brother Nathan how to drive or fishing with his brother-in-law Clifton, and his best friend Dustin. He will be deeply missed and always remembered for his warm heart, caring ways and making others smile. Most of all, Robby will be remembered for his deep love for the Lord.
Robby was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Sheets Kidd of Hurst, Texas and his maternal grandmother, B.J. Williamson of Waco, Texas.
Robby is survived by his parents, James and Mary Jo Kidd of Arlington; sisters, Michelle Bownds and her husband Clifton of Alvarado and Jacqueline Olive and her husband Alex of Arlington; brother, Nathan Kidd of Arlington; surrogate sister, Mariel Garza and her husband Joey of Dallas; nephews, Easton and Zacary Bownds of Alvarado; paternal grandmother, Jo Kidd of Hurst, TX; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Barbara Travland of Sequin, WA; numerous other relatives and friends.
