Horace Duncan's Obituary
Horace Dan Duncan, 73, was received into the hands of God, Friday, March 20, 2015 while at his Arlington home.
Horace was born December 28, 1941 to Horace O. and Lenora Duncan in Fort Worth, Texas. Dan was a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1966. He was employed with the Fort Worth Independent School District over 30 years as the Director of Construction and Maintenance. Dan loved spending time at his ranch. He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting and was an astronomy hobbyist. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joyce Duncan of Arlington; sons, Michael Duncan and wife Kirsten of Indianapolis, Indiana and Stephen Duncan and wife Kristin of Mansfield; daughter, Dana Duncan of Lewisville; sister, Patricia Duncan of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Zachary, Caroline, Connor and Kassidy Duncan, Katelyn and Ashley Kohlschein.
