William Earl Bembenek's Obituary
William Earl Bembenek, Jr., 69, of Arlington, passed away, Thursday, February 2, 2012 in a local hospice facility.
Private Services are being held.
In lieu of flowers, donations in William's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
William was born June 25, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to William and Lucille Bembenek. He attended Highland Park High School and graduated in 1975 from the University of Texas in Arlington with his Bachelor degree in Accounting. He enlisted in the US Army in 1964 and was honorably discharged January 20, 1967. He resided in Mansfield for over 40 years before moving to Arlington and was employed as an accountant with Triton Oil in Dallas. William enjoyed reading and politics and was a talented landscape artist, having won many awards in his youth. On August 2nd, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, he married Candace Ford and enjoyed the love and time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Bembenek and brother, Patrick Bembenek of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Candace Bembenek of Arlington; daughters, Sharie Elisa Bembenek of San Marcos, CA and Eve Marie Brast and her husband Edward of Mansfield; brothers, Jeff Bembenek of Mesquite, Steve Bembenek of Flint, TX, Mike Bembenek of Burlington, MA, Rick Bembenek of Puyallup, WA; sister, Maria Rockwell of Acton, California; grandsons, Justice Bembenek, Noah Kennedy, Elijah and Josiah Brast; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
