Dignora "Dino" Benitez Perez, 61, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 10, 2014 in Arlington while surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation: 6pm - 8pm Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Mansfield Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: 3pm Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Mansfield Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at a later date at Venus Memorial Park.
Dino was born June 8, 1953, in La Habana, Cuba, to Jose and Maria Benitez. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Dino was a very giving person who never thought twice about giving her time or taking care of others. She was very family oriented and will be remembered for her wonderful cooking. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and being outdoors fishing, when able. Dino's sweet and selfless spirit will be deeply missed by all she knew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Perez, and mother, Maria Benitez.
Survivors: Daughter, Dina Perez Chambers and husband, Chris, of Dallas; son, Steven Perez and wife, April, of Venus; father, Jose Benitez of Venus; grandchildren, Michael and Sarah Pentikas of Burleson, Alexys Perez of Venus; brother, Jose Benitez and wife, Ana, of Chicago, Ill.; sister, Grisel Clark and husband, Dale, of Gloucester, Va.; nephews, Tony and Frank Benitez of Chicago, Sergio Rodriguez of Virginia;and nieces, Bethany Zoll and Dorian Clark, both of Virginia.
