Andrew Remington Gieger, 28, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016.A graveside service will be held 10:00am on Saturday, May 14, 2015 at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.Flower arrangements may be sent to Mansfield Funeral Home; 1556 Heritage Parkway; Mansfield. Andrew was born September 12, 1987 in Irving, Texas to Philip and LeAnna Gieger. He was raised in Rendon and was a talented baseball player from an early age throughout his high school career. He was a 2006 graduate of Summit High School and attended Creekwood Church in Mansfield. Andrew met the love of his life, Kelsey Marie Chiusano, in Mansfield at Smoothie King and on May 18, 2013 they were married. He enjoyed fishing his family pond and had a dry sense of humor. Andrew was a quiet soul,amazing son, loving husband and great friend who will be deeply missed by all he knew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reverend Lee Ingram and Frances Gieger.Andrew is survived by his wife, Kelsey Marie Gieger; parents, Philip and LeAnna Gieger; sister, Abigail Gieger all of Rendon; brother, Philip Gieger, Jr. of Spokane, WA; paternal grandfather, Gerald Gieger of Crowley, TX; maternal grandmother, Marilyn Ingram of Rendon; great grandmother, Jane Ingram of Rendon; Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and his pet miniature Australian Shepherd, Lola.
