Cole "shaver" Avance's Obituary
ARLINGTON -- Cole "Shaver" Avance, 21, a free spirited young man who loved life, family and friends, entered into eternal life Thursday, November 11, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 11am to 2pm at North Davis Church of Christ, 1601 North Davis Drive, Arlington.
Celebration of Life will follow at 2pm.
Cole was born March 1, 1989 in Arlington where he has lived all his life. At the age of 4, he was a sponsored Rollerblader, made the Grand Nationals at the age of 7 in Go-Kart racing, and was a sponsored semi-pro wakeboarder. In 2008, Cole graduated from Porter Tutoring under the guidance of Marca and Steve Porter. He graduated from the Ogle School in Arlington and was working as a Stylist at the Esoterica Salon in Fort Worth. Cole was best known for being kind hearted and enjoyed extreme sports, his friends, hunting, being with his family and spending time with his Grandparents. He was preceded in death by his brother, Seth Avance and grandfather, Donald Henderson.
Survivors: parents, Robert and Tina Avance of Arlington; sisters, Lisa McKinnon and her husband Dale and Morgan Avance both of Arlington, Michelle Sloan and her husband Jeven of Birmingham, AL; paternal grandparents, Harold and Edy Avance of Rowlette, TX; maternal grandmother, Shirley Henderson of Brownstown, MI; girlfriend, Brandi Dixon; nieces, Sophia and Ruby Sloan both of Birmingham, AL; nephews, Cam McKinnon and Jesse Avance, both of Arlington and his companion and friend, his Yorkie, Lilly.
