Billy Hardy's Obituary
Billy Ray Hardy, 62, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Navarro Regional Hospital after a succumbing to complications from pneumonia, a severe stroke, and cancer.
Billy was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 15, 1953 to Johnny C. Hardy and Artie Olivia Hardy. Billy served in the U.S. Navy from 1971-1975. He worked various jobs throughout the years, including working for the City of Forest Hill, Texas and Lynn Smith Auto Sales as a mechanic. He enjoyed cooking, firearms, telling stories with family and friends, and tinkering on his cars and motorcycles. He was a devout American patriot and a devout fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Billy is preceded in death by his father, Johnny C. Hardy; his mother, Artie Olivia Hardy; his brothers, A.C. Dalton and James Hardy; and his sisters, Minnie White, Shirley Long, and Margaret Henson.
Billy is survived by his sister Betty Bibby, and possibly his brother Raymond Hardy. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and some good friends.
