Joe Arredondo's Obituary
Joe Arredondo, 63, was received into the hands of our loving God, Sunday, April 6, 2014 while in a Dallas hospital battling cancer, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 2:00pm to 5:30pm at Mansfield Funeral Home, 1556 Heritage Pkwy, Mansfield, TX. The family will then begin receiving friends at St. Jude Catholic Church at 6:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 7:00pm; 500 E. Dallas Street, Mansfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 2:00pm at St. Jude Catholic Church; 500 E. Dallas Street, Mansfield.
Joe was born May 5, 1950 in Austin, Texas to Amada and Agustin Arredondo. He has resided in the DFW area since 1985 and has been an Arlington resident for the past 17 years. Joe was currently employed as a Senior Facility Operator for Raytheon, dedicating over 27 loyal years. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed being outdoors, woodworking and playing golf with his wife Annie and family. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who never missed any of his grandchildrens activities. Joe also loved taking his children and grandchildren on family vacations. Joe will be deeply missed and always loved by his family and many friends.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Annie S. Arredondo of Arlington; son, Joe-Gilbert Arredondo and wife Farrah of Arlington; daughters, Joanna Lewis and her husband Shawn and Amanda Zuniga and her husband Martin both of Mansfield; brother, Augustine Arredondo of Austin; sisters, Josie Alaniz of Austin and Armelinda Smith of Dripping Springs; grandchildren, McKayla and Kody Lewis, Gabriel, Martin and Victoria Zuniga, Isabella, Joe Michael and Jacob Arredondo; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
