June A. Holden's Obituary
June A. Holden, 85, was received into the hands of God, Thursday, June 2, 2011 in a local hospital.
Memorial Services were held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 11:30am at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7620 Baker Boulevard, Richland Hills.
June was born March 26, 1926 in Buffalo, New York to Frederick and Elsie Sammelwitz. She moved to Arlington in 2001 from Fayetteville, NY to be closer to her family. She was a longtime member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville and sang with the Sweet Adelines Spirit of Syracuse Chorus. June enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, reading, crossword puzzles, volunteering and had a passion for Shopping. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, her pets and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Holden of Arlington and sister, Ruth Preusch of Sheektowaga, NY.
Survivors: son, Bruce Holden and his wife Kathy of Midland, MI; daughters, PJ Savage and her hsband Chuck and Janet Holden both of Arlington; grandsons, Setphen Holden and his wife Emily of Pleasant Grove, UT, Jeremy Holden and his wife Ashley of Midland, MI, John Holden of Mt. Pleasant, MI, James Holden of Provo, UT, and Jacob of Midland, MI; brother, Paul Sammelwitz and his wife Diane of PA; sister, Alice Kryszczynski of Lancaster, NY; granddaughters, Jeannie Tice and her husband Trent of Lantana, TX, Adrianne Gaddy and her husband Charles of Pleasant Grove, UT, Meghan Nance and her husband Micah of Bloomington, IL; great grandchildren, Jared and Justin Tice, Kristen and Bella Gaddy, Connor, Benson, and Austin Nance, Jasmin, Ava, Andrew and Ethan Holden.
