Yvette Henderson's Obituary
Yvette Henderson, 96, was ushered into the presence of her Lord Jesus, Thursday, April 21, 2011.
Born November 9, 1914 in Warren, Texas to Claude and Minnie Harrison, Yvette grew up and attended school in Port Arthur, Texas. She and her late husband, Willie Paul, moved to Woodville, Texas and lived there for 33 years where she enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking. Next to her relationship with the Lord, her family was paramount in her life. Yvette was a faithful member of Trinity Assembly of God Church and attended the ladies prayer group for many years. Through her faith and love for the Lord she blessed her family and many lives.
Yvette is preceded in death by her husband Willie Paul; son, Gene Paul Henderson; and grandson, Richard Oates.
Yvette is survived by her children, Joann Farrell and husband Reedy, Dudley Henderson and wife Mona, Jerry Henderson and wife Sandi, and Kay Clow and husband Lynn; sister, Odell Womack; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Midway Cemetery, Woodville, Texas with Rev. Gary Adams officiating.
