Cecil N. Galliher's Obituary
Cecil N. Galliher, 76, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 in Mansfield.
Interment services with military honors will be held 11am Friday, September 27, 2013 at the
Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Cecil was born May 14, 1937 in Iredell County,, North Carolina to Charlie and Ada Galliher. He was raised in North Carolina and lived in Kansas over 30 years before moving to Alvarado two years ago. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed camping and working on cars. Cecil also loved to traveling the United States with his wife, Sheri, and attending Bluegrass festivals.
Survivors: wife of 30 years, Sheri Galliher of Alvarado; sons, Ronald Galliher and wife Laura of Hutchinson, KS, Stephen Galliher and wife Christine of Harmony, NC; daughter, Pamela Faw of Newton, NC; step-daughter, Marti Cantrell and husband Scott of Kennedale, TX; stepson, Richard Frisbie and wife Margaret of Claflin, KS; sister, Grace Freeze and husband Benny of Statesville, NC; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
