Mary Fahey, 81, 0f Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in a Mansfield Hospital.Private services are being held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's honor can be made to www.copdfoundation.orgMary was born December 21, 1934 in Yancy, Kentucky to Annie and James Hamilton. She grew up in the coal mine town of Yancy before moving to Carbon Hill, Alabama where she graduated Valedictorian of her 1953 graduating class at Carbon Hill High School. After graduation, Mary moved to Washington DC where she met her husband, Robert, and they were married in 1954. She began working for Pitney Bowes and retired as their first woman National Vice President in 1992. After retirement, Mary and Robert moved to Florida where they have lived until Robert's passing in 2011 when Mary moved to Mansfield to be closer to her daughters. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughters James Ann Mackenzie of Mansfield, TX, and Olga Fahey of Mansfield, TX, her sister Rebecca Hamilton of Nacadoches, TX, her granddaughters Rachel Andring of Mansfield, TX, and Maggie Farris of Fort Worth, TX, her great granddaughter Lily Bryn Dresser of Mansfield, TX, and "The Buddies".
