MSGT Allen Curtis, Jr, USAF (Ret) was received into the hands of God, December 6, 2012.
Inurnment with full military honors will be held at 2:30pm Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery; 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX.
Allen was born November 4, 1941 in Orange, Texas to Allen and Orelia Curtis, Sr. He was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant where he worked as a helicopter engineer. After his military career, Allen's knowledge and training allowed him to work as a supply distributer for government contractors. His employment presented Allen with opportunities to travel around the world many times. The past 30 years Allen has called Wichita Falls his home before moving to Mansfield to spend his final days with his daughter, Krystal. He was an avid golfer, loved technology and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Allen will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerald Curtis.
Survivors: Daughters, Andrea Roberts of Houston and Krystal Davis and her husband Samuel of Mansfield; son, Gary Curtis of Wichita Falls; brothers, Leonard and James Curtis; sisters, Josie A Curtis, Tanya (Harvey) Wilson, Brenda (George) Edwards and Aileen Franklin; grandchildren, Jaylon Curtis, Bryce Roberts, Baileigh Titus, and Jada and Kira Davis.
