Dylan Christopher Smith, 21, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015, in Arlington.
Gathering of family and friends will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mansfield Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the American Diabetes Association, www.Diabetes.org.
Dylan Christopher Smith was born May 27, 1994, in Olathe, Kan., to Susan and Larry Smith. He had the biggest heart in the world and a passion to help people. He was a people person who had an innate ability to make friends with complete strangers. He was a spiritually devoted person. His physical body is gone, but his spirit will always be among us.
Dylan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Shumaker of The Woodlands.
Survivors: His parents, Larry and Susan Smith of Mansfield; brother, Justin Robert Smith of Benbrook; paternal grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Sue Smith of Valrico, Fla.; maternal grandmother, Lois Shumaker of Mansfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
