Mike grew up in Brighton, Colorado, where he went to school and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Science. Mike had a free spirit which allowed him to experience many opportunities but his favorite place to be was in the mountains. He loved fishing for trout and camping in Colorado while spending time with his family. He enjoyed a daily homemade hot fudge sundae as well as a hot cup of coffee. Mike was a very creative individual, always thinking of ingenious ways to improve things and make them more efficient. He started several businesses because he had so many interests and would want to learn every facet while making money. He use to say that a person should always have more than one iron in the fire, and he always did with his entrepreneurial ventures. Mike had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He would tell amazing stories and jokes that would leave everyone is his audience yearning for more. Mike had a strong testimony of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He encouraged all those around him to read scriptures and pray daily. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his family, friends, and his country.
