ARLINGTON --
Scott Robert Pound, 34, was united with his heavenly Father, August 13, 2010 while in a Dallas hospital.
Visitation:
6pm to 8pm Friday at Alternative Funeral Services Visitation Suite.
Life Celebration:
11am Saturday at Advent Lutheran Church, 3232 South Cooper Street, Arlington.
Inurnment will take place at Moore Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Scott was born April 26, 1976 in Newark, Ohio to Robert and Kathy Pound. He's best described as an unselfish person who had a great sense of humor and a smile that would light up a room. He loved to travel, being with family and playing practical jokes on those he knew. June 13, 1998, Scott married his soulmate, Melisa, and have enjoyed every minute with each other and with their two cats, Boomer and Shadow. He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, loved sports, especially his teams, the Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves. Scott will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Survivors:
wife of 12 years, Melisa Pound; parents, Robert and Kathy Pound; brother, Bryan Pound and grandmother, Marsh McCoy all of Arlington; grandparents, Robert and Darlene Pound of Newark, OH, brothers-in-law, Andrew Strong, Nick and Matt Crum, Parents-in-law, Ed and Debbie Crum of Arlington and numerous aunts, uncles, extended relatives and friends.
