Barbara Ann Pfister, 68, of Mansfield, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 in a Mansfield hospital.
Celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11:00am at Alternative Funeral Services.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's name may be sent to the American Lung Association, 8150 Brookriver Dr. Suite S102, Dallas, TX 75247
Barbara was born October 30, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to Gil and Agnes Gilmere. She has resided in Mansfield for over 8 years, moving here after she retired from CT Corporation Systems. She had artistic talent and loved making jewelry, painting and scrapbooking. She enjoyed old country music and loved spending time with her family. Barbara will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Survivors: son, Scott L. Pfister and his wife Brenda of Magnolia, TX; daughter, Dawn Pfister of Mansfield; brothers, Howard Gilmere of Wisconsin, and Keith Gilmere of Colorado; sister, Shelia Ramsey of Colorado; granddaughters, Ashley Hernandez, Crystal Pfister and Shelby Whitney; grandson, Nathan Pfister, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
