Chester Earl Bass' Obituary
Chester E. Bass, 75, passed away August 22, 2009 in a local hospital. Memorial Service: 2pm Saturday at Shepherd of Life Lutheran Church in Arlington. Chester was born in Edgar, Illinois February 2, 1934. He graduated from Veedersburg High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. Chester worked 30 years as a printer for R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Glasgow, KY and Crawfordsville, IN and 10 years for Dollar General in Scottsville, KY. He was loved and will be always missed by his family and friends. Donations may be made in Chester's name to Community Hospice of Texas, 6100 Western Place #500, Fort Worth, TX 76107 Survivors: daughter, Rhonda Banks and her husband Dr. David Banks, DC of Grand Prairie, sons, Mark Bass and his wife Tari of Amelia, OH, Tony Bass and his wife Kim of Chino Hills, CA, and Joseph Bass and his wife Holly of Scottsville, KY, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren and other relatives.
