Betty White's Obituary
Betty Ann White passed away March 18, 2014 in Mansfield, Texas. She will be dearly missed.Betty was born on December 24, 1945 in Pecan Gap, Texas to her father, William and her mother, Naomi. Betty was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Midlothian and lived in Venus with her husband Jerry. She worked at Standard Manufacturing as a painter for 17 years before moving on to Pinkerton at L3 Communications to work in security. She retired from there after 8 years with them in 2008. She grew up in Oklahoma but moved to Grand Prairie with her family. She moved to the Mansfield/Venus area and lived there for over 20 years. She liked to spend her time crocheting, cooking for the family, and spending time with her loving family and grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her sister Judy Greenhaw. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Jerry Smith of Venus Texas, Her two daughters, Sheryl Reeves of Corsicana, Texas, and Sharon Hastings of Grand Prairie, Texas, Her three sisters Lola Smith of Sherman, Texas, Mary Lou of Tishmingo, Oklahoma, and Brenda Badders of Butcher, Oklahoma, and her two brothers Phillip and Larry White. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
