Pamela McMullen's Obituary
Pamela Dermid McMullen, 56, was received into the hands of God, Tuesday, February 24, 2015 while at her home.
Memorial Service: 11am Monday March 2 at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church; 1201 SH 360; Mansfield, TX
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Pamela's memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pamela was born October 11, 1958 in Morristown, Tennesee to John and Alline Dermid. She graduated from Plano High School in 1976 and received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has resided in Mansfield for the past 14 years and was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. Pamela was athletically active and enjoyed all sports, especially local teams. Her family was most important to her and she loved traveling with her husband, Dan, to Destin, Florida to spend time at the beach. Pamela loved all holidays and anyone visiting her home was sure to be greeted with holiday decor. She is best remembered for her selflessness and gave considerably more to others than she received. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend who will deeply missed by her family and friends.
Survivors: husband of 32 years, Dan McMullen of Mansfield; son, Christopher McMullen and wife Kalee of Fort Worth; daughter, Brittany McMullen of Lewisville; parents, John and Alline Dermid; brother, Forrest Dermid and wife Cherie of Mansfield; nephew, Walter Dermid and niece, Mary Dermid.
