Adrian Deon Williams Jr.'s Obituary
Adrian “A-Train/Sushii” Deon Williams Jr., 30, was born on March 8, 1995, in Little Rock, AR, to Lorree' (Bell) Younger and Adrian D. Williams Sr. On February 7, 2026, he left his legacy of love behind.
He was baptized at Christian Chapel Temple of Faith under the leadership of the late Dr. Jerome E. McNiel.
Adrian and his mom relocated to Dallas, TX, in 1999. They eventually moved to Carrollton, TX, where AJ completed most of his primary education. He graduated from Creekview High School in Carrollton, TX. He attended Oklahoma State University (even though he was a huge University of Oklahoma Sooners fan) and Blinn College.
He started playing football in the Carrollton Youth League, where he met lifelong friends. He continued playing until graduation. As one friend lovingly recalled, he earned the nickname “A-Train” for his unstoppable presence on the field.
Travel and music were two of Adrian’s passions. A natural adventurer at heart, AJ believed life was meant to be enjoyed, explored, and shared. It was no surprise to call or text AJ and find that he was in another country — whether with cousins, friends, or traveling solo. A true traveler at heart, he embraced cultures through their cuisine, always eager to try foods from around the world. His other nickname “Sushii” was a testament to his particular love for the popular dish.
Although a shy child, Adrian started singing at a young age and never stopped. He was in the school choir throughout middle school and most of high school. He was a gifted singer whose voice brought joy to many.
Though gentle and quiet in the presence of elders, with his closest cousins and friends he shined — laughing harder, smiling brighter, and living fully. His bright, genuine smile was one of his greatest gifts to the world.
Adrian was preceded in death by his sister, Raya Younger; his grandfather, Ira Williams Sr.; his cousin, Timothy Dunn; and his godmother, Cherisse Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Lorree' (Romal) Younger and Adrian (Mirtala) Williams Sr.; his little sister, Leah Williams; his grandparents, Brenda Logan Bell, Loran (Lisa) Bell, and Betty (Tauheed) Williams; his step-grandmother, Carolyn Bowen; his partner since 2019, Trinity Greathouse; his aunts, Sonja Bell, Delores (Martin) Nnam, Rhonda Williams, Sherry Williams, Sonja Williams, Kimberly Williams, Tunja Austin, and Kenna Lewis; his uncles, Dwayne (Sandra) Williams and Thomas (Barbara) Dunn; his step-aunts, Veronica Cline, Tasha Edmonds, and Lisa McCoy; his step-uncles, Bryant (Juanet) Murrille and Brandon Murrille; and his special friends, Larce Blake, Raquan Dobbs, Daniel Benson, and Austin Reynolds; along with countless cherished family members and friends who were a blessing to be part of his journey.
His circle was wide, his cousinships and friendships many, and though space prevents us from naming everyone, each relationship was meaningful.
Though AJ’s travels have come to an end and his music has quieted, his spirit still moves among us. The laughter he shared, the songs he sang, and the love he gave will echo in our hearts forever. AJ lived fully, loved deeply, and traveled far — and that is how he will always be remembered. His journey does not ,end here — it lives on in every memory, every melody, and every life he touched.
