Ajani Devonn Webb's Obituary
Ajani Devonn Webb was born on August 13, 2002, in Long Beach, California to
Vanessa Carroll and Richard Webb Jr. Shortly after Ajani was born, he and his mother
relocated to Bullhead City Arizona, where he spent many happy years. There, he
accepted Christ at an early age and developed a strong relationship with the lord.
Early on, Ajani showed strong-willed characteristics that carried on throughout his
childhood and into his adult life. For example, if there was a task that Ajani wanted to
accomplish, he did not wait for instruction from others - and that included anything from
teaching himself how to swim to learning how to play the piano. These traits did not stop
at childhood; into adulthood, he taught himself how to drive stick-shift vehicles and
became very passionate about wanting to drive a motorcycle. His headstrong
personality was not always looked upon favorably by the adults in his life, but Ajani
marched to the beat of his own drum no matter the consequence.
Growing up, Ajani became quite a traveler and attended schools throughout the country
due to his parents being nurses. However, this did not hinder his ability to make friends,
which he did very easily wherever he went. His quirky personality and infectious smile
effortlessly brightened up anyone’s day. In 2016, the family settled down in Texas. He
attended and graduated from Mansfield High School and attended Tarrant County
College. He soon after entered the working world, where he excelled and worked in
several different managerial positions.
Ajani eventually became a proud and productive employee of the United States Postal
Service in Dallas, Texas where he remained until his untimely death. In his free time,
Ajani was an avid gamer and loved spending time with his family and friends. He also
loved working on his car - which he called his first baby. Ajani could often be found
taking long drives or at a car meet near him. Ajani was a loving and caring family
member and friend with a heart of gold. He was well loved and will be missed by all.
On July 7, 2024, heaven needed another angel, and Ajani answered God’s call. Ajani
was survived by his mother Vanessa Mongare, his father Richard Webb Jr, and dad
Tom Mongare; three sisters Amani, Kelly, and Jailah; two brothers Brian and Quentin;
Patricia and Jimmie White, Vern and Felicia Carroll, Richard Sr. and Sandra Webb
(Richard Webb Sr. preceded him in death), and Ezra and Tabitha Abuga (Ezra Abuga
