Amelia Lopez, age 74 passed away peacefully on Saturday March 19th in Mansfield Texas at home surrounded by her loving family. Amelia is joined in heaven by her parents Luis and Mariana Hernandez; siblings Juan, Pedro, Luis Manuel Read Obituary
Amelia was always so sweet and caring and loved her her daughters so so much. She will be missed by many.
I grew up with Amelia. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. We were very good friends as teens. We lost touch when we both got married & moved, but we still were friends on FB.
I pray for her daughters & the Hernandez & rest of the family, for God's comfort & strength.

Amelia is my extended family, mother-in-law of my son (Ricky Burris ). I met her in 1991,
in Franklinton, La., at my home where
she came to her daughter, Evangelina( Angie's) wedding. The day I talked to her, I knew she was kind, loving, and caring for all she met. Thereafter, I felt a closeness to her. She will always be a part of the Burris family. I pray her entire family and her extended family take comfort in her resting. Love is never Lost.

My most fondest memory
I had with Amelia was teaching her how to swim at the trailer park swimming pool where we lived.My sister Esther and Amelia and I would go swimming and get a good tan. May she rest in the hands of Jesus.
