Andrea M. Henry's Obituary
Andrea M. Henry, age 75 of Tyler, Texas was born January 9, 1947. She departed this world for her heavenly home on Friday, May 20, 2022.
Andrea was the daughter of John Henry Martin and Orssie Lee Leadon-Martin. She was preceded in death by both her parents.
Andrea was a loving, vivacious, cheerful mother and grandmother to her children and their families as well as friends. Her personality was magnetic, encouraging and uplifting to all around her. If you knew Andrea then you know she was the “fun” grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, laughing and making memorable moments with family and friends. One of her deepest passions was offering medical and humanitarian aid to the community.
Andrea loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Miracle Revival Center Move of God Church in Addison TX. The highlight of her Sunday mornings was praise and worship. That's when her face lit up and her heart was lifted with her hands in praise as she sang along with every song.
Andrea received her Bachelor's degree from Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, TX. She went on to work in the medical field as a phlebotomist for over 20 years. Additionally, she offered her medical knowledge and skills at community health fair events within the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Andrea was preceded in death by her twin sister, Sandra Clark.
Andrea leaves behind her only child: Daughter, Kimberly Martin of Dallas, TX. Granddaughter, Amanda Davis (Jordan, Arolyn, Taylor, and Aaron), Granddaughter, Teri Gilliam (Caleb and Amari). Andrea is also survived by her sisters Madalyn Canady, Kathy Thomas, and brother Charles Martin. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
