Nellie Prestwood
Andrew Z. Prestwood III
Andrew Z. Prestwood III and I met in my dining room of my home 4043 West Polk Street, Chicago, Illinois 60615. He was a new member to the group that I was told I needed after winning first place in the final WVON radio singing contest. It was a day in my life that I would never forget. Because I had read about love at first sight from my True Romance magazines I loved reading and fantasizing about like every young girl at that age in life. I believed so many things that naivety in life but that meeting felt like something special different from what was the usual. So much so that I told my sister Lobo aka Ahuvah Gray I just met my husband. After laying down to sleep that nigh in our shared bedroom with twin beds with so much excitement it was overwhelming with such strong belief that something had changed in my life. I slept with great expectation of our next meeting.
By the grace of God we lived our own true romance love story at first sight and maybe a year later Juni drop out of college n entered the U.S. Air Force. He had a plan and I didn't like it because we had to be apart for 6 months. But when he return home from basic training he came home with a ring and ask me to marry him. But I had some foresight about our engagement. Because I became very concern about my hands from writing letters I became aware of the fact that I didn't have fingernails I didn't like the looks of my hands. One day while writing I remembered something a high school girl friend told me about how to grow your fingernails. It was so simple just work on your Cuticles push them back and it worked. It changed my life my nails started to grow and I told myself that I was getting engaged. My intuition that told me that some big was about to happen again in my life because of the growth of my fingernails. Juni would come home with a ring we hadn't spoke about it I just felt something I knew it.
