Ashley Medina Bare, age 27, formerly of Arlington,passed away on the evening of January 30th, 2020. She was a graduate of Seguin High School in 2011 and received her BS in History from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2016. Ashley was an amazing Science teacher and was named “Teacher of the Year” in only her second year of teaching.
Ashley was a cheerleader during her school years, and became a dedicated cheerleading coach. Ashley attended Fielder Baptist Church and was a strong woman of God. Ashley was a truly generous and special person who always put the needs of others above her own. She always went above and beyond in everything that she did. Ashley was the best wife, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece, teacher, cheer coach, and friend. Ashley was always the life of the party and she loved to travel.
She loved decorating the house for holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Valentine’s Day. She adored her dog Sushi who was her baby. Ashley was just over four and a half months pregnant with her first child, her son Christian Douglas Bare Jr., who also passed in the car accident.
Ashley is survived by her husband Christian Bare. She and Christian had been together for seven and a half years, and had been married for just over a year and a half. She is also survived by her mother Rosa Castillo, her grandmother Elvira Contreras, her aunt Olga Womack, and numerous cousins and friends.
