You were a sweetheart. It was easy to be around you. Your calm demeanor and caring personality were comforting to us. To see and hear you laugh was heartwarming. i watched you grow in your career path and how well you settled into a leadership role. I miss you terribly, the door remains shut between our offices now. Carlos, although we lived miles apart, was like my little brother. I love him so much. Growing up we would laugh so much over the silliest things. His laughter was the best. I loved making him laugh just to hear it. There really are no words to express how I feel without him. I'm just grateful that we still have his two boys and his beautiful wife to share some of their memories with us. I love you, Carlos. Life without you will never be the same. Carlos was one of my son's (Sean Carranco's) long life friends. He was a very kind soul, always smiling, happy and always very respectful. When the boys were attending Poteet High, Carlos was always at the house, spent much time with us and ate many dinners with us. I enjoyed having him around and considered him one of my kids! I recall at times driving him, Jaime and my children to school. In their Senior year and because the two boys were in Band, Carlota, Cindi and I drove to Austin to attend the band competition where Poteet placed 2nd. When the two boys went on their first date with two sisters, I sat them down and covered the do's and don'ts about dating.

I know that Sean and Carlos have kept in touch throughout the years. Each time Sean has shared with me he has been in Dallas working/visiting, I always have inquired as to how Carlos and the family are doing. Sean and I will miss Carlos deeply.

In closing, I offer my very sincere condolences to the entire Rodriguez family (Heather, the children, Carlota, Jaime and everyone else). I have no doubt Carlos is with our Lord. My prayers are with each and everyone of you. God Bless.

RIP Carlos, you will be missed by all that knew you. In 10 yrs I’ve never heard anyone say anything negative about you, that’s rare to find now a days. My thought and prayers to the Rodriguez family. I have known Carlos for a few years. He has been a great mentor to me and always treated everyone with respect. Carlos always had a smile on his face. One of the things I liked most about him was his passion for the patients we served at AMR. I knew I could always count on Carlos to back me up when I needed it. He was an amazing mentor, supervisor and paramedic. Carlos will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and coworkers.
