Mama C, my family and I are truly gonna miss you. We love you. We are so sad that we did not get to spend more time with you before the lord brought you home. The lesson for us is to make time and stop procrastinating because you will miss out on hanging with special people. ;-) KG
Words cannot express how much you meant to me Mama Cross. I will miss you so much. I will have the fondest memories during my tenure at Parkland. I will miss your laugh, your stories and even seeing you run to the time clock so you wouldn't be late. I was heartbroken to hear of your passing but I am eternally happy that our paths crossed. Momma Cross was my work granny and my friend. Our talks and laughs will never be forgotten.
I was a little scared of Mrs Cross at first, then I learned that she was a ol' softie with a big heart. Mrs Cross was a very cheerful giver. She hardly missed an opportunity to give a gift and she always did it with a smile. I am sad that she didn't get the opportunity to meet my children, but they knew of her very well and were saddened by the news. Mrs Cross demanded respect and always made her presence known whenever she walked into the room. I will miss our chats, her sassy attitude, and her no nonsense demeanor. Mrs Cross definitely left a deep impression on everyone she met. It was an honor and a privilege to have known her and to work with her. I will remember you always. . .rest well friend 💜
My deepest condolences to family and friends. I knew Mrs. Cross for a little over 3 years...she slowly won me over with her sassy loving attitude. She took care of me at work and I did the same for her. Everyone at work had a role but I believe she expected more from me and I didn't let her down. In my heart I adopted her as my Nana...and I believe she also knew it. So many memories. I will miss her deeply.
I met Ms Cross in the early 80’s at Parkland. She was nice to me, She was a diligent hard worker, She very dedicated and faithful. I am offering condolence to her family. May the Good LORD comfort and give peace in Jesus name. C. Sowels.
