Cheryl De Los Santos' Obituary
Cheryl De Los Santos, our beloved mother and Gigi, passed away on March 4, 2022, in Midlothian, TX, at age 66. Cheryl was born on December 8, 1955, in Virginia, to James and Mabel Jones and is the youngest of three children. After high school, Cheryl moved to Texas, attended and graduated college, and began working for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Cheryl became a federal agent, for IRS, and then became a federal agent for the U.S. Small Business Administration, Office of the Inspector General. Cheryl retired from the United States Federal Government in 2012. Cheryl was a loving mother of four children, Adam De Los Santos, Olivia Becker, Elizabeth Milosevic, and Jessica De Los Santos. In 2015, she gained her favorite title, Gigi, when her first grandchild was born.
Cheryl was best known for exhibiting strength, raising strong children, and spoiling her four grandchildren. Cheryl had a sassy and loving spirit. Cheryl was a dedicated mother and Gigi and was present for every single important moment and event in her daughters and grandchildren's lives. Cheryl was truly a superwoman.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Olivia Becker, her husband, Brandon Becker, and their children, Isabella and Eva Becker; daughter Elizabeth Milosevic, her husband, Dejan Milosevic, and their children, Lara and Luka Milosevic; daughter Jessica De Los Santos and her fiancé Frank Gillett. Cheryl was a loving dog mom to Peanut, Keeper, and Bexar.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mabel Jones, and son, Adam De Los Santos.
The service for Cheryl De Los Santos will be held on Saturday, March 19, 11:00 AM at Mansfield Funeral Home.
Cheryl De Los Santos passed away from an aggressive form of Triple Negative metastatic breast cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to METAvivior, which is a nonprofit dedicated to research of metastatic breast cancer or to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, which is a nonprofit dedicated to funding research to support new treatment options for triple negative breast cancer.
