Cynthia Diane Taylor's Obituary
Cynthia Diane Taylor was born May 24, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas to the union of Pauline Cook and Clyde W. Wallace. She was educated in FWISD and was a proud graduate of I.M Terrell High School. She attended Texas Southern University where she met her lifelong husband and former TSU track star and U.S sprinter Robert E. Taylor. Thereafter they traveled the world and raised three beautiful daughters and later on adopted a son. She worked for Texas Digestive Disease Consultants in Arlington, Texas for over 20 years.
Cynthia was an avid sports fan who loved to support her husband and his football and track teams. She faithfully attended the sports events where she developed a lifelong "motherhood" relationship. She joined Mount Olive Baptist Church and remained a loyal and faithful member until she was called home by our Heavenly Father.
She is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 45 years, Robert E. Taylor of Mansfield, Tx , daughters Crystal McGruder (Bachary) of Mansfield, Tx, LaKesha Harden (Gregory "Gregar") of Mansfield, Tx, Chvonne Taylor of Mansfield, Tx , son, Phillip Tanner of Mansfield, Tx; affectionately known as Ma-Ma and Nanny by her grandchildren Taylor and Payton McGruder, Brandon, Nyomi, and Collin Harden. Goddaughter, Antwanique Thomas of Cedar Hill, Tx.
She is also survived by her father Clyde W. Wallace of Ft. Worth, Tx; brothers Kenneth Carr of Ft. Worth, Tx, Clyde C. Wallace (Paula) of Arlington, Tx, and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends, with whom she had a special relationship, that will miss her dearly.
Preceding her in death is her mother Pauline Cook and sister Belinda "MeeMee" Washington.
