Danielle "Doodle Bug" Kieschnick's Obituary
Danielle Christine Kieschnick, cherished daughter, beloved sister, and dear friend to many, passed away in her sleep on May 20th, 2024. She was ten days away from her 28th birthday, a day she looked forward to as a step towards a new, better life for herself.
If Danielle “Doodle Bug” hadn’t lit up your world within seconds of meeting her already, all you had to do was give her a few more minutes, and she’d have you cracking up with her witty yet extremely goofy personality. There was no denying that Danielle was a beautiful young woman, but more than anything, those who loved her remembered how she made them laugh. Even when you were trying to stay mad at her over a silly argument that neither of you would remember a day later, all she had to do was make one joke, and you’d be laughing harder than you ever had before. To her (amused) horror, she had picked up her dad, Audie’s, habit of starting every corny joke with a drawn-out “Golly, man.”
From the moment she was born, she had a stubborn streak that both parents swore up and down she had inherited from the other, but everyone secretly knew that stubbornness was uniquely Danielle. After all, she became ‘Doodle Bug’ because whenever her mom, Dana, tried to burp her, she’d curl into a ball and make the task just a teensy bit harder.
Danielle had a multitude of talents; she had a passion for drawing and writing poetry, sometimes gifting her creations to loved ones. She had entertained the idea of fame once or twice, but she eventually discovered a different calling. Danielle found her purpose in massage therapy and often spoke about her fulfillment in helping her clients. She dreamed of expanding her career to aid either athletes or animals - a decision she playfully left to be determined by which she found cuter when she was ready. Her sweet dog, Blu, probably would have preferred the latter, and knowing Danielle, she would have changed her entire career path if it had meant her puppy was happy.
The world might have lost a bright light, but her family takes comfort in knowing she rests peacefully with the Lord, waiting for the day she can banter with them again.
Danielle is survived by her parents, Audie Kieschnick and Dana Hubenak; older siblings Audie Jr. - aka “Bubba”- Amy, Keena, Bradley, Michael, and Lauren; younger brother Preston; grandparents Mike and Cheryl Cassady and Lucy Hubenak; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Pallbearers are brothers Bubba, Bradley, Michael, and Preston, cousin Lane, and nephew Albert Jr.
