Debbie Whiskin's Obituary
Debbie Whiskin, the most amazing mom, wife, sister, friend and daughter passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2021 at the age of 50 years old.
Debbie is one of six siblings and was born in Michigan on March 5, 1970. She is survived by her two kids, Lexi & Chris (Heather), who were her entire world, as well as her parents David & Linda, her husband Bernard & step-daughter Landrie, and her siblings Michele (Lance), Lisa, Dave (Mindy), and step-brothers Joe & Sean.
To say the least, Debbie was steadfast and determined; over the years, she held prominent positions at both Verizon followed by Texas Health and Human Services. She devoted much of her time to her family and closest friends. She enjoyed cheering on the Cowboys every single Sunday, as well as playing juice jam and trying her hand at new recipes. One of her favorite hobbies was fishing with her father, David.
Preceded in death by her loving mother Shirley Jean Gehrett, Grandparents Ken & Ruby Gehrett and Don & Ruth Whiskin. She was loved by her many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Her family is appreciative for all of the love and prayers that were sent their way.
