Mrs. Debra Michelle Anderson-Owens' Obituary
It is with incredible sadness that the family of Debra Michelle Anderson-Owens announces her unexpected passing on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the age of 46 years.
Debra, an unbelievably-talented, entrepreneur extraordinaire, passed while doing what she loved with whom she loved during her journey to Atlanta, GA. Debra was on a mission with the love of her life, Chris, to make a difference in the lives of others at the world-renowned Walker Stalker Con event.
Debra spent her entire life putting the needs of others before her own. Debra’s life example will live beyond her years as she exemplified hard work, determination, and the ability to overcome any obstacle. Debra’s beautiful mindset continues to live to the benefit of organizations utilizing the electronic systems brilliantly engineered by Debra for causes she genuinely desired to advance. Debra’s beautiful heart of gold and innate ability to find true happiness in helping others, loving others, and accepting others will remain forever in the lives of those she loved and impacted.
Debra will never be forgotten by her husband and love of her life, Christopher Owens, by her adopted father and mother, Loyd and Denise Stephens, by her brother, Jason Anderson, by her adopted brothers, Ben Stephens and Brandon Stephens (Jeff), by her adopted sister, Brittany Stephens (Heather), by her maternal grandmother, Ola Mae Stephens-Walker (Ray), by her 105-year old maternal great-grandmother, Octavia Stephens-Johnson, and her brother-in-law, Marcus Lopez (Jessica). Debra will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and most precious friends. Debra was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Louis Earl Stephens.
A Celebration of Debra’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at the Mansfield Funeral Home, 1556 Heritage Parkway, Mansfield, TX 76063, with Marcus Lopez officiating.
