I shared my father with so many other kids. He was just about everyone's father. From my cousin's to the young men he worked with. I know he had so many kids he adopted I wont be able to name them all but will try. If I miss you Im sorry it was not on purpose. Danny Essary, Don Bandy, Phillip Essary, Kenny Spoon, RIcky Burnside, John Bagby, Frankie Duhon, Lena Johnson, Carl Essary, Wesley Havard, Jenny Havard, Brenda Chapman, Matt Laake, Robert Wright, Daf Griffiths, and of course Myself, Terry Paul and Joey. We were all so lucky to have just a strong, wise hero to guide us in our lifes. I can honestly say that my cousins were more like my siblings as well as the friends he managed to adopt along the way. He was a wonderful grandfather to Chris Chapman, Casey Grueben, Robert Laake, and Tabitha Chapman. Teaching them to fish, ride horses and the dune buggy rides you had to learn to hang on for your life. He also played grandfather to All of Brenda's Neices and Nephews, Tara, Teri, Russell, and Tracie as well as to Kelsie Essary, and Rene Grimes. Then came the next generation. Stevie Ray, Caysen, Micheal, and Seth, Grace Wright, Sadie Ray, Aiden and Noah, Miss Delilah and Kyleigh and Kade. He loved you all and his love is now your legacy. I love you all and am thankful you all are my family.

Uncle Dale was always a playful guy. He liked to pick on you and play little tricks, and in turn made him laugh. He would throw his head back and laugh a deep, loud laugh. One of the tricks he would do was offer you a quarter and place it on him arm and then ask you to take it and quickly move, ninja like, and catch the quarter and put it in his pocket. His smiling rosy cheeks will be looking down on us from heaven, reunited with the rest of the family, without pain, smiling and playing pranks.
