Delia Barnett, 61, passed away May 22,2021 in Fort Worth, Texas, due to covid complications. She was born in Houston, TX, but a longtime resident of Mansfield, Texas. She loved to volunteer her time at the Petco adoption center. She loved spending her time camping & fishing with her husband and traveling anywhere. She enjoyed shopping and spending all her time taking care of her family. It didn’t take much to make her happy, she could liven up any occasion with her presence. She loved her George Strait and Texas BBQ. She found happiness and pride through the achievements of others. Occupation was taking care of her family.
She is welcomed into heaven by parents: Josephine & Florenzo Avalos. Son: Anthony Barnett. Siblings: Diana Preston, Alex Avalos, Ted Avalos, Joe Avalos, Johnny Avalos, Robert Avalos and Jack Avalos. Niece: Rosemary Foster and Martha Elliot. Her cats: Tucker, little man and Tibbles.
She will be forever missed by spouse Charles Barnett. Her children and their spouses: George (Bumper) Bargas, Mario Bargas, Marcia & Aaron Vermeulen, Katy Barnett & Daniel Lovewell and Kayla & Luca Marano. Grandchildren: Ricky Rodriguez, Lil Mario Bargas, Emilia & Jacqueline Vermeulen. Her sisters: Janie Givens, Alice Lizcano, Patsy Reagan, Annie Hatchet, Stella Avalos, Lucy Edwards, Lupe Seagrace, Rosie Avalos, Eva Carney. Her Brother: Raymond Avalos. Nieces and Nephews: Becky & Billy Whatley, Mia Gonzales and children, Ralph & Janice Sorola and many others. Her beloved cats: Ratboy, Dexter, Conway and Whitney.
