Birth date: Jan 31, 1989 Death date: Apr 7, 2025
Deontey was like the brother I never had, ever since high school we have always been close. He was such a kind, genuine soul, and super intelligent. He was a great teacher, because of him I learned how to play piano. We could always count on each other for anything. The time we spent together while enjoying video games and other activities was precious and priceless. He gave me new perspectives on life and really showed me a different way of thinking about things. He truly is my brother and will be very very missed, much love to his family and may he rest in paradise.
Our rare adult convos were even better and funnier than the ones we had as kids.. tons of memories together growing up that it would take too much to recall them all... I love you brother- Rest Well

Kim,
There are no words that can ease the weight of this loss—but I want you to know how deeply I admire the love, strength, and joy you poured into your son’s life. You didn’t just raise a good man—you raised a man of substance, of character, of purpose. And I know that because I’ve come to know him through your words, your stories, your pride.
You celebrated his life every chance you got, and it was always clear just how much he meant to you. That kind of love never fades. His legacy lives on—in you, in the lives he touched, and in the hearts of those who knew him through you.
I’m holding space for you, and I’m here for you.
With love,
Clarence Cochran
My big brother was intelligent, kind beyond measure, nerdy, and all around one of the best humans I've ever known.
He was a God to me. I love you big brother.
Even though our time working together was short, I will always remember your kindness and the unwavering positive attitude you brought to those around you. It's a true testament to the impact you had on everyone you met. You and your family are in my thoughts, and prayers. May your family always find comfort and supported in those around them.
Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”

I hired Deontey last year, after interviewing him I knew he was going to help a lot of people and he meant business. We instantly hit it off and I knew he was going to do great things. He came onto my team and right from the start he was able to get right in and go to work to help people out with their healthcare. We had some great coaching sessions and he was able to double the amount of people he was helping. I know he helped out a lot to take care of his mother and grandmother whom he spoke so highly about. From the start Deontey was one of the hardest working people I knew and he was so excited to be at a company that he could really excel and grow to where he could provide for those in his care. He is truly one of a kind and will be truly missed. I want to thank his family personally because he must have come from a truly amazing people to be the caliber of man that he was. I always could trust him to do what he was entrusted to do, and excel at his job. He is an amazing human and I will miss our 1 on 1 conversations we had. Rest in Peace my brother.
