So sad to have just learned of Derrick's passing.... he was a gentlemen of great positivity and energy. I was fortunate to work with him at Aviano as one of the Chaplain's. There was a few times I pulled him into help with an event, he always did so eagerly bringing all his gifts and uplifiting those around him. He will be missed deeply because he loved greatly and was loved dearly. I'll look forward to seeing him again amongst the angels in heaven, until then may God comfort those of us who celebrate his life while we grieve and mourn his loss.

Andrea and Derrick were always so supportive of their “twin” during sports season and even after one twin graduated, they still traveled to support the other one. We will miss his smile, positive words of encouragement, love or sweets and just hanging at the shed in Aviano. Thank you and God Bless

The Taylor's and Key Family have from the moment we met in Okinawa have had a loving relationship. Words can't express how we feel right now. To absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and we know Derrick is at the foot of the Father. We miss his physical presence here with us but rejoice at the truth that he is in a better place, reconnecting with loved ones who have gone on to glory before him. We pray the Peace that surpasses all understanding for his family and friends and ask the Lord to guard their hearts and minds. We know Derrick is barbecuing and making everyone laugh in heaven with that contagious smile of his. Rest well my brother. Till we meet again. The Key Family.
