Dylan Kyle Stevenson's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Dylan Kyle Stevenson of McKinney, Texas, on his birthday, September 27th. Born in Fairfax County, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C., Dylan’s life was tragically cut short due to a vehicle incident.
Dylan was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served with distinction as a Sergeant E5 in Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq. During his service, he endured two bombings and was awarded numerous medals and service awards for his bravery and dedication.
Dylan is survived by his loving parents, Sherry-Lynn Stevenson (Gagnon) and Earl Stevenson, his six siblings: Brandon Jared Stevenson, Cheyenne Dakota Gruszka (Stevenson), Destiny Hope Stevenson, Sierra Autumn Stevenson, Hunter Walker Stevenson, and Chad Cody Stevenson, and his brother-in-law, Ryan Gruszka. He also leaves behind numerous cousins spread all across the United States. Known for his gentle and giving soul, Dylan was always ready to help anyone in need.
He will be laid to rest with military honors at Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, Texas. Dylan’s kindness, courage, and selflessness will be deeply missed by all who knew him
