Erna did not meet very many strangers. She was a smiling face, an inspiration, and a friend to just about everyone she met. She was a true Diva! Her life is a legacy of Love, Hope, Faith, Joy, Peace, and Strength. She will be missed immensely by all that had a chance to know her. God's comfort will keep those of us left behind. Rest in Heaven my Lovely Sister Erna.
I met Erna through our "greeters group" at The Church on Rush Creek. She was always there to greet, no matter how bad she felt, with a smile on her face, high heels and a dress. We prayed with her, and for her each week, shedding tears on many occasions. Now she is dancing in the streets of Heaven with her Lord and Savior, watching over her grandbabies. I will never forget her grace, beauty and love for God. She will be missed dearly.

I met Erna a long time ago, 38 years to be exact. A co worker who became a special friend to me. Erna Mae girlfriend is who she became to me and I Patricia Mae girlfriend to her. We had a special bond and I cherished her friendship, all our talks, sharing the good and the bad in our lives our hope and dreams for our children and grand children. She was a person to sacrifice everything she had to give or do for others. She loved the Lord with all her heart. I someday will be reunited with my dear Erna Mae girlfriend in heaven.
